Weather forecast: In North India, the heat gained momentum on Monday. In some areas of Delhi, the temperature reached 40.2 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has warned of a similar heat to remain for the next few days and Yellow alert has been issued for 9 April i.e. till date. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain in some states in the coming two days.

How will the weather be in Delhi today

Today, both day and night will be very hot in Delhi. Strong heat will also continue. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Yellow alert for Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurgaon. People have been asked to take precautions so that they can avoid heat.

Till and scorching heat in Rajasthan

The temperature in Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bikaner, Kota and Chittorgarh in Rajasthan reached 44 to 46 degrees Celsius. Barmer was the hottest, where 45.6 degree temperature was recorded. For the next two days, heat and nights can remain warm in the state. But from April 10-11, there can be some relief from rain and strong wind in some areas.

Light rain and thunderstorms in Chhattisgarh

According to the Meteorological Department, light rains, thunderstorms and lightning are likely to fall in Raipur, Bastar, Durg and parts of Bilaspur on 9 April. People have been advised to be vigilant.

Rain and hail fall in Jharkhand alert

There is a possibility of rain, thunderclap (lightning) and hail falling in many places in Jharkhand today. In districts like Ranchi, Deoghar, Godda, Lohardaga, Simdega, Palamu and Eastern-Western Singhbhum, people have been advised to take precautions.

Chances of getting relief from heat in Uttar Pradesh

In Uttar Pradesh too, there is a strong heat in many places, but now there are signs of getting relief. From today, there may be light rain and thunderstorms in western and eastern UP. In some areas, winds may blow at a speed of 20-30 km per hour. However, there is still a possibility of heat stroke in districts like Ghaziabad, Noida, Mathura, Agra, Jhansi. The Meteorological Department says that there will be no significant change in temperature in the next two days, but after that there may be a slight decline.
