Big news has come for the youth of the country. Candidates who have been waiting for army recruitment for a long time are finally going to get that opportunity. From November 15, the process of Territorial Army recruitment is starting in 22 states and many union territories of the country. In this recruitment, youth will get opportunity in Soldier GD, Soldier Clerk and many other trades. The special thing is that this time recruitment is being done on more than 1500 posts, which will increase the chances of selection of a large number of youth. Selected candidates will be appointed in different units across the country.
This recruitment of Territorial Army has brought a big opportunity for those youth who want to serve the country by joining the army but are not able to do full time job throughout the year. This recruitment gives them a chance to become a part of the army. This time, the posts for which recruitment is to be done include 752 posts of Soldier General Duty, 792 posts of Soldier Clerk, 6 posts of Sainik Survey, 1 post of Sainik Chef Special, 2 posts of Soldier Cook Service, 2 posts of Soldier Railway, 2 posts of Compwire Battalion, 1 post of Soldier Tailor, 10 posts of House Croyer, 4 posts of Sainik Mess, 2 posts of Sainik Artisan Wood and Sainik Health. Contains 3 positions of treasure. Both male and female candidates will get equal opportunity on all posts.
The recruitment calendar has also been decided in several phases so that the youth of the states can get convenience in joining the recruitment at their nearest place. Recruitment will take place in Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Odisha from 15 November to 14 December. Apart from this, recruitment in Haryana and Delhi will run from 28th November to 10th December. Whereas in the states of South and West India like Kerala, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Goa, Telangana as well as Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu, Dadra Nagar Haveli and Puducherry, recruitment will be conducted from 15 November to 1 December.
What qualification is required?
The eligibility for this recruitment has also been kept quite simple according to the posts. Candidates from 8th to 12th pass can participate in it. Candidates between 18 years to 45 years can apply for any post. Due to such a wide age range, a large number of youth will have the opportunity. Selected candidates will get salary and other benefits as per the rules of Territorial Army, which will also provide them financial security.
How will the selection happen?
The selection process has also been kept completely transparent. The applying candidates will have to first give a physical test. This is considered to be the most important stage of army recruitment, in which race, height, chest and other physical parameters are examined. Candidates who pass the physical will be sent for medical test.
In medical, the fitness, health and any kind of disease of the candidate is examined. Only the candidates who are successful in both these stages will get a chance to appear in the written examination. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the result of written examination and candidates will be appointed accordingly.
