These are the same eagles that are considered an important symbol of royalty in Arab countries, and when it comes to their travel, the same rules apply to them as to humans.

This passport looks just like a normal passport. In this, the name, age, species, owner’s details and identification number of the falcon are recorded. Its validity is three years. But the thing to note is that a separate passport is made for every eagle and a passport is valid for only one bird.

It costs approximately Rs 4.5 thousand to make this passport, but this amount is nominal for the rich people of Arab countries. Airlines reserve separate seats on flights for many of these eagles. These birds sit on the seat only, and according to the rules, they are also made to wear seat belts.

This passport is valid only in some selected countries of the world and Falcon is considered a special protected category. There are many rules for traveling with a pet in India, but in UAE there is a complete system in place for eagles. There are special rules for medical checkup, security documents and travel approval for them.
