Oman has given the target of 136 runs to the Indian team. It is a do or die match for both the teams to reach the semi-finals of the Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament. Only Wasim Ali and captain Hammad Mirza could play big innings for Oman. Ali returned unbeaten after scoring 60 runs, while Mirza scored 32 runs. Whereas Suyyash Sharma and Gurjapneet Singh took the maximum wickets for Team India. He took two wickets each.
Oman had a good start as 37 runs were scored in just 4 overs. Hammad Mirza and Wasim Ali handled Oman’s innings and at one time the team had scored 93 runs at the loss of 2 wickets. But from here the Indian bowlers wove such a net that Oman team could score only 42 runs in the last 45 balls and during this period also lost 5 wickets.
India will reach the semi-finals
Pakistan has so far secured a place in the semi-finals from Group B. There is competition between India and Oman for the second place, both currently have two points each. The team that wins today’s match will become the second team from Group B to reach the semi-finals. Vaibhav Suryavanshi is in good form in this tournament, having scored 189 runs in 2 matches so far. Against UAE, he scored 144 runs in 42 balls. In that match he scored a century in 32 balls.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi will also be expected to bat stormily in the match against Oman. He is also coming after playing an inning of 45 runs against Pakistan. Although Pakistan defeated Team India by 8 wickets.
