“Why were my and my family’s names removed from the voter list?”

What is the whole matter?
In the video, two youths Asif and Maqbool were seen asking questions to female BLO Savita Mithilesh. They allege that the BLO has not come to their house to give the form. Besides, marking has been done against his and many other families’ names in the voter list. This could be a conspiracy to erase the name of the entire community on some signal.
The youth say that the BLO sits at a certain place in the area and expects people to come themselves to collect the forms. They allege that the names of those who do not turn up to collect the forms are being struck off. It came to light that in the voter list maintained by the BLO, many names of a particular community were marked.
Female BLO remained silent after questions
When the youth started asking questions, the female BLO remained silent at first. Later she only said that she had gone to give the form, but when the youth repeatedly told her that she had not come home, she could not give any clear answer. Surrounded by questions, the BLO said that she would not answer any questions and also said that she was a government employee. The youth recorded the entire incident on their mobile cameras and posted it on social media.
Congress also shared the video
The matter became more political when this video was shared on the official Congress wrote, “People’s names are being targeted and deleted, a game is being played in the name of SIR. Taking away the right to vote is an attack on the Constitution and it will not be tolerated.”
The matter escalated after the dispute
After this video surfaced, a debate has erupted in the area. It is alleged that a particular community is being targeted in the name of SIR (Special Summary Revision) in the voter list. The matter has now moved from social media to political allegations and counter-allegations. At present, this video is raising questions on the election preparations and transparency of the election process in Jaipur and action is also being demanded from the local administration.
