After the formation of the new government in Bihar, 26 ministers have taken oath. Now departments have to be divided among ministers. Meanwhile, on Friday (November 21, 2025), a list has come out in which the names of the BJP ministers who took oath and their departments are written. The surprising thing is that Home Department is written in front of Samrat Chaudhary.
Actually the Home Department has been with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. If this list is proved correct and it is approved, then it will be the first time that Nitish Kumar will not have this department. Because this department is such that Nitish Kumar never wants to leave it.
Bihar BJP congratulated ministers
A list has been shared from the X handle of Bihar BJP. In this, the names of 14 ministers and the name of the department are written in front of them. He has been congratulated. The post reads, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the newly appointed honorable ministers of Bihar for being allotted departments! All the honorable ministers who have taken charge with the resolve of public service will give a new direction to good governance and stability under the leadership of respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and popular Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar ji.”

What did BJP and JDU say about the list?
Regarding this list, BJP’s state media in-charge Danish Iqbal said that it is correct. Not fake. He clearly said that the Home Department is going to Samrat Chaudhary. On the other hand, JDU MLC and spokesperson Neeraj Kumar said that we are not convinced about what is going on right now. There is no authentic letter, so we can’t do anything on it.”
