Captain Hiester said, “This was a first for our team after serving in the US Air Force for two years and it happened just before performing our last show of the season. All of us, together and individually, were watching the scene after this terrible accident silently from a distance and thinking that the Indian maintenance team was standing on the ramp next to the empty parking spot, the ladder of the aircraft was kept on the ground, the pilot’s luggage was kept for hire till that time.

The air show had started again shortly after the accident.

Hiester further said, “After the fire on the plane was extinguished at the crash site, the organizers informed all the show participants that the air show would continue.” He said that his team went back, but they returned after an hour or two with the hope that they would find an empty spot, but they were very disappointed to see that the show announcer was still very excited and thrilled.
