Staff Selection Commission is soon going to release the admit card of Junior Engineer Paper-1. All the candidates who are going to appear in this examination will be able to download their admit card by visiting the official site of SSC ssc.gov.in. The Commission has already made it clear that the admit card will not be sent to any candidate through post or e-mail. The hall ticket will be available only online for which the candidate will have to keep an eye on the official website continuously.
When will the exam be held?
According to the schedule given by SSC, the JE Paper-1 exam will be conducted in computer-based mode at centers across the country from December 3 to December 6, 2025. The exam will be conducted for all three engineering categories, civil, mechanical and electrical.

exam pattern
SSC JE Paper-1 will be completely computer based exam. CBT will be there. The paper will consist of total three sections.
- General Intelligence and Reasoning questions
- General Awareness
- Questions will be asked from General Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) subjects. The duration of the paper has been fixed at 2 hours and there will be a total of 200 marks.
How many posts will be recruited?
SSC has invited applications for a total of 1340 posts for JE Recruitment 2025, which includes civil, mechanical and electrical posts.
