During the grand finale of Bigg Boss 19, tribute was paid to Hindi cinema’s ‘He-Man’ Dharmendra. A throwback video of Dharmendra was played in the show, seeing which Salman Khan had tears in his eyes. By the time he could control himself, his eyes filled with tears.
In a throwback clip shown in the show, Salman Khan was seen addressing Dharmendra as ‘elder brother’ and ‘father figure’. Salman said, ‘My favorite hero, like an elder brother, like a father… he has come on this show in every season.’ And this season he could not come here…’

After this, a special clip of Dharmendra’s moments spent in the show was shown. In this video, late actor Dharmendra was seen saying, ‘Salman ka show ho aur Dharmendra na aaye’. Hearing this, Salman’s eyes became moist. In the clip, Dharmendra had also promised to return in the next season. But he could not come.

Salman Khan said while crying
As soon as the video ends, Salman becomes silent for a few moments and starts crying. He adds in a hushed voice, ‘When you guys were inside, we lost Dharmendra ji. I don’t think there is any better man than him. The life he has lived is a king’s life. He has lived with an open heart. Have given 60 years in entertainment. He has given us Sunny, Bobby and Isha. And the most amazing thing is that from the time he joined the film industry till the end, his only aim was to work, to do good work.
Dharmendra entertained us in every role
Further Salman Khan also said, ‘He (Dharmendra) has entertained us in every role. He has done every type of work. He has done comedy, action, drama, emotion and entertained us in every role. I have followed only Dharam ji in my career. So there is no other actor for me, only Dharam ji. He brought an innocent face and a manly body. He brought a charming character and personality and that was with him till the end. Love you Dharam ji, always miss you.’
Salman Khan also attended the last farewell

In the beginning of November, he was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, where many stars came to know about his condition. During this time, Salman Khan also came to meet him in the hospital. Not only this, Salman Khan also reached the cremation ground to bid last farewell to Dharmendra.
