Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday, December 14, appointed Nitin Nabin, cabinet minister in Bihar government, as the national working president of the party. A senior leader of the party gave this information. BJP national general secretary Arun Singh said in a statement, ‘The Parliamentary Board of BJP has appointed Nitin Nabin, minister in the Bihar government, as the national working president of the Bharatiya Janata Party with immediate effect.’ The Parliamentary Board of the Bharatiya Janata Party has selected Nabin for this post.
In the affidavit filed for Bankipur assembly constituency in Bihar assembly elections 2025, Nabeen has said that he passed matriculation in the year 1996 and intermediate in 1998. Nabeen has studied both high school and intermediate from the national capital. Nabin has passed high school from Saint Michael School in the year 1996 and 12th from CSKM Public School in the year 1998.

Nitin Nabin comes from Kayastha community
Nitin Nabin is the son of veteran BJP leader Naveen Kishore Sinha. He is recognized as an Indian politician and social worker and comes from the Kayastha community. He has also held the responsibility of Bihar State President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. He has been recognized as a youth leader.
Nabeen represents Bankipur constituency in Bihar Assembly. In the recently held Bihar Assembly elections, Nitin Nabeen from Bankipur Assembly constituency defeated RJD candidate Rekha Gupta by more than 51 thousand votes. Nitin Nabin won in 2020 with around 83,068 votes, while his rival Luv Sinha (Congress) got around 44,032 votes.
There is a tradition in BJP that the person selected for the post of President is appointed as the working president before formally assuming office. In such a situation, it is believed that Nitin Nabin will be the next president of BJP.
