Big accident on Damoh-Chhatarpur highway, dumper fell 25 feet, 3 including Congress leader buried in ballast died

A very painful case of dumper accident has come to light from Madhya Pradesh. In fact, a horrific road accident took place on the Damoh-Chhatarpur State Highway late on the night of 22 December. In this accident, a dumper filled with ballast fell into a 25 feet deep culvert, resulting in the death of 3 people.

This accident happened near Batiagarh, where the dumper went out of control due to brake failure. In the accident, three people including a Congress leader Shehzad Khan got buried under the gravel and lost their lives. This incident has spread a wave of mourning in the area.

How did this accident happen?

According to the information of the people present there, the dumper full of ballast coming from Chhatarpur was at high speed on the state highway. As soon as it reached Batiagarh, the brakes of the dumper suddenly failed, due to which the driver could not control the vehicle. The uncontrolled dumper fell straight down the culvert. The culvert was about 25 feet deep, where the dumper overturned as soon as it fell and all three occupants were buried under the ballast.

Rescue operation and deaths

Immediately after the accident, people passing by the road informed the police. Rescue operation was started on the spot with the help of police and local people. After much effort, the three injured were taken out from under the ballast. Of these, 2 people died on the spot. The third injured Congress leader Shahzad Khan was brought to Damoh District Hospital in critical condition, from where he was referred to Jabalpur.

Weeds and administration action in the area

While being taken to Jabalpur, Congress leader Shahzad Khan also died on the way. In this way, three people died in a single accident. As soon as the information about the incident was received, there was mourning in the area and the family members were crying and in bad condition. Police have registered the case and started investigating the cause of the accident. In the initial investigation, brake failure is considered to be the main reason for the accident.
