Mamata Banerjee has been the Railway Minister in the central government led by Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Even during that time, she often kept raising questions on the functioning of the government. After this, George Fernandes was sent to Kolkata by the Central Government to convince him, but Mamata did not meet George. After this, one day suddenly Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee reached Mamata Banerjee’s house and that day Mamata was not in Kolkata.
‘Your daughter harasses you a lot’
After reaching Mamata Banerjee’s house, Vajpayee touched her mother’s feet and asked about her well-being. Atal also said in a joking tone to Mamata Banerjee’s mother that your daughter is very mischievous and troubles her a lot. Mamata’s anger disappeared due to this step of Atal Bihari. After some time, Mamata Banerjee separated from the NDA government on other issues and formed Trinamool Congress in 1998.
