A song was later added to the film Saajan, whose story is quite interesting. Originally the film was being made long ago and Manoj Kumar was the hero. But lyricist Sameer was inspired by the word “Saajan” since childhood and when he got a chance, he decided to write a song with this name.
Sitting with Nadeem-Shravan, he saw the line of the song “Pehla bar saajan ki aankhon mein pyaar, ab jaake aaya mere bechain dil ko karar”. To record the music of the song, the lyricist got the recording done with his own money.
Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit participated in the recording of the song and included the song in the film. This song proved to be a superhit after its release and made the music of the film even more memorable.
