Gold Price Today: There is a slight decline in gold prices in the domestic futures market on Wednesday, January 7. Gold futures with expiry of February 5, 2026 opened at Rs 1,39,140 (per 10 grams) on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday. On its last trading day, gold on MCX had closed trading at Rs 1,39,083.
At 9:50 am on January 7, gold with expiry of February 5 was trading at Rs 1,38,389 on MCX. Which shows a decline of about Rs 650 from the previous day’s closing price. MCX Gold had reached a high level of Rs 1,39,140 in early trade.
Along with gold, the prices of silver are also falling on the trading day on Wednesday. Silver with expiry of March 5, 2026 was trading at Rs 2,55,755 (per kg) on MCX. Which shows a decline of about Rs 3050 from the previous day’s closing price. MCX Silver had reached a high level of Rs 2,59,692 in early trade.
