ED raided the office of I-PACK in Kolkata last Thursday (January 08, 2026) in the coal scam case. On Friday (January 09, 2026), BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal gave a big statement on the ED raid on I-PAC office. He has even discussed Jan Suraj Party.
‘Will you work with the money or invest?’
Sanjay Jaiswal said, “I-PAC has been a very controversial company from the beginning… Even in Bihar, I-PAC had spent Rs 60 crore of its money on Jan Suraj Party… Why was it spent? You are a political consultancy firm, so will you take money to work for the people or invest the money in political parties?”
Sanjay Jaiswal also attacked Mamata Banerjee
He also said, “Just as Ravan’s life was in the navel, similarly Mamata Banerjee’s life is in the coal mafia and human traffickers. This is why there is a raid on a person’s house and the Chief Minister herself goes there and steals hard disks from there, steals papers… There was no raid in her party office, there was no raid at any of her places…”

Mamata Banerjee is with the mafia: Sanjay Jaiswal
They had hatched a similar conspiracy in Jharkhand also and they got success in Jharkhand. I Pack is not a political consultancy firm. The work of I-PAC is to form the government, to topple the government… to work by taking money from the mafia… This shows that Mamata Banerjee is with the mafia. This also means that the file of all the scams of Mamata Banerjee was there with which she has fled. The government should also take cognizance and file an FIR against Mamata Banerjee.”
