What are the main allegations against Shehbaz Sharif?
According to Mir Yar Baloch, these allegations have been made against Shahbaz Sharif-
- Violating the visa rules of Balochistan.
- Entering Balochistan illegally without a valid visa or legal permission.
- Serious and deliberate harm to the sovereignty of Balochistan.
- Grossly violating the territorial integrity and airspace of Balochistan.
Mir Yar Baloch has said that Balochistan is a separate, sovereign and independent state. Therefore no person is above the immigration laws of Balochistan, even if he is the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Entry without an illegal visa will be considered a criminal offence.
When and where can the arrest take place?
It is clearly stated in the warrant that Shehbaz Sharif can be arrested as soon as he reaches any airport or any entry or exit point of Balochistan. This action will be taken under the laws and sovereign rights of the Republic of Balochistan.
What was the response from Pakistan?
So far, there has been no official reaction on this warrant from the Government of Pakistan or Shehbaz Sharif. This warrant is being considered symbolic, because Balochistan is part of Pakistan and the government-in-exile has no real control.
Demand to separate Balochistan from Pakistan
This news shows the ongoing separatist movement in Balochistan, where people are demanding separation from Pakistan. This warrant has been issued as a warning to Pakistani authorities, the Army Chief and all citizens that entry into Balochistan without prior visa permission will not be tolerated.
This matter is said to be related to international law, sovereignty and immigration rules. Everyone’s eyes are on what happens next.
