A massive fire broke out in a house in Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh last night. This horrific fire incident took place in Telangana village of Nauhradhar in Sirmaur district after Arki Bazaar of Solan. Due to which six people were burnt alive and one person was rescued in injured condition. The injured has been referred to Solan Hospital. This has been confirmed by SDM Sangrah Sunil Kayth. Three children and two women are also among the dead.
LPG cylinder burst due to short circuit
DC Sirmaur Priyanka Verma said that this accident took place in Talangana village of Nauhradhar around 3 o’clock last night. There were a total of seven people in the house at the time of the fire. Out of which six have died. According to initial information, the fire started due to short circuit, due to which the LPG cylinder kept at the house burst and the fire engulfed the entire house.
It has been reported that some pet cattle were also burnt alive in this fire. The fire broke out in Mohan Lal’s house. It is being told that all the deceased are family members and relatives of Mohan Lal.
Wife and three children died in the incident
The deceased have been identified as Naresh son of Durga Singh resident of Taproli Rajgarh, Tripta wife of Naresh resident of Taproli Rajgarh, Kavita wife of Lokendra resident of Khumda Chaupal, Sarika daughter of Lokendra resident of Khumda Chaupal, Kritika daughter of Lokendra resident of Khumda Chaupal, Kritik son of Lokendra resident of Khumda Chaupal. Lokendra is seriously injured in this fire. Lokendra’s wife and three children did not survive in this accident.
After receiving information about the fire, the administration has rushed to the spot and relief and rescue work is also going on. At present the fire has been brought under control. Due to the remote area, the fire spread quickly and took time to extinguish. Many leaders including the Chief Minister have expressed grief over this accident.
