If we look at the trend of CTET admit card in the last few years, it is clear that CBSE always releases the admit card 2 to 3 days before the examination. Admit card has never been given long ago. For this reason the candidates have to wait till the last moment.
When will CTET 2026 exam be held?
CBSE has already announced the exam date of CTET 2026. This examination will be conducted on Sunday, 8 February 2026. This exam will be conducted in offline mode on OMR sheet. After passing CTET, candidates get a chance to become teachers in government and private schools.
CTET exam shift and timing
CTET exam will be conducted in two shifts. Paper-II, i.e. for those teaching classes 6 to 8, the exam will be held from 9:30 am to 12 noon. Whereas the examination for Paper-I, i.e. classes 1 to 5, will be held from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. Candidates will be required to reach the center one hour before the commencement of the examination.
Why is admit card most important?
Without CTET admit card, no candidate will get entry in the examination center. The admit card contains the candidate’s roll number, address of the exam center, reporting time and all the important information related to the exam. Therefore, all the candidates are waiting for the admit card.
When will the exam city slip come?
Exam city slip is issued before the admit card, so that candidates can get information about their exam city in time. It is expected that the exam city slip of CTET 2026 can be released in the last week of January or beginning of February.
Candidates are advised not to panic about the admit card. According to the trend of last years, CBSE releases the admit card only at the last moment. Therefore, keep checking the official website regularly, prepare for the journey as soon as the exam city slip arrives and keep the admit card and valid ID with you on the day of the exam.
