The Indian Air Force (IAF) displayed its bravery, courage and fighter aircraft in the sky above the duty line during the 77th Republic Day celebrations. At the same time, the IAF also gave a befitting reply to all those condemning and criticizing those who have been accusing the Indian Air Force that it did not use the weapons it claims during the air strikes in Balakot inside Pakistan in 2019 and during Operation Sindoor in May 2025 last year.
When the whole of India was unitedly celebrating the 77th Republic Day, the Indian Air Force gave a small, but clearly a very powerful message. While IAF fighter planes have been regularly participating in the Republic Day parade for decades, this time the Air Force did something different.

What weapons did IAF show?
In a video shared by the Indian Air Force, the long-range air-to-air Meteor missile was shown for the first time on India’s newest fighter aircraft Rafale. Apart from this, India’s indigenously built Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas was also shown firing the Meteor missile. At the same time, the fully armed Mirage 2000 fighter jet was also fitted with the same missiles which were used by the IAF in the 2019 Balakot air strike.
Destroyed all the lies spread by Pakistan
At the same time, through this video, IAF also rejected all those lies spread by Pakistan, in which questions were raised on India not having Meteor missile and its use. Whereas the contract for this missile has already been publicly confirmed.
