The yellow alert issued by the India Meteorological Department two days ago proved to be completely correct. The sky remained cloudy throughout the day and a drop in temperature was recorded. Due to this change in weather, the effect of cold and fog has also increased, while the department has warned of more rain.
Light hailstorm also fell along with heavy rain in Ghaziabad, Noida and surrounding areas. From the morning of 27th January, the weather took a turn and there was darkness throughout the day. According to the Meteorological Department, after the heavy rains on January 23 and 27, there is a possibility of one more rain, which will increase the cold.
It will rain again with thunderstorms
India Meteorological Department said that once again there will be rain with thunderstorm in Delhi-NCR. During this period, strong winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour. Due to strong winds and rain, there will be a further drop in temperature, which will increase the chill. The Meteorological Department has already issued a yellow alert and advised people to remain alert, so that any kind of inconvenience can be avoided.
The weather will change again on February 1
According to meteorologists, the next time it will rain in Delhi-NCR will be on February 1, which may start with strong winds and thunderstorms. Dr. Shashikant Mishra, senior scientist of India Meteorological Department, said that for February 1, yellow alert has been issued in the entire NCR including Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and Faridabad.
On this day, dusty winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour and there will be good rain. Adequate rainfall has been recorded in the area in the last 24 hours also. A slight increase in the minimum temperature can be seen between 28th and 31st January, but from 1st February the weather will change once again and the effect of cold will remain.
