Renault has introduced its most-awaited Duster in a new avatar. The prices of this vehicle will be revealed by March and deliveries will start from April. Now the big question is about its price. Regarding Kia Seltos’ rival Duster, it will be interesting to see how the company decides its price. The starting price of Kia Seltos is Rs 10.99 lakh, while the starting price of Duster can be less than Rs 10 lakh.
Renault Duster is expected to be launched at a lower price than its rivals and its 1.0 liter turbo petrol variant will be more affordable. Renault has described the Turbo TCe 100 engine as accessible to the common people and this variant is expected to sell the most.
How much will it cost?
The new Duster will come with three powertrain options, in which the base turbo petrol will produce 100 bhp power and will be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Its top-end turbo petrol variant will come in both manual and DCT automatic options. It is expected that the price of 100 bhp turbo petrol manual will be less than Rs 10 lakh.
Renault Duster will be priced lower than its rivals and the starting price is expected to be Rs 9.99 lakh or less. Renault is placing a lot of confidence in the new Duster as it is its most important new car and the starting price will play a big role in its sales success.
Car design and features
Talking about design, the new Duster retains its old boxy style, but modern elements like new headlamps, connected LED tail lamps and strong bumper have been added to it. The company is also giving 7 years warranty.
The cabin of Renault Duster gives a strong and premium feel as before, but now many advanced features have been added to it. Its dashboard matches the boxy exterior. The SUV has a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
