Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi are a popular couple in the industry. Now apart from acting, he also runs a YouTube channel. Recently he talked about his personal life on YouTube channel. Archana talked about the financial struggle with husband Parmeet Sethi in her new YouTube series ‘Pyaar Dosti Hai’.
‘Archana called Parmeet a red flag’
He remembered his early days. Archana said, ‘In the language of today’s Gen Z, Parmeet was a red flag. When people say this about such boys, they are not settled and do not earn. At the same time, for a man, a woman being older than him was also a red flag. Our Pandit ji, after looking at your horoscope, said that I should not marry you. He had said that we will have to face a lot in the initial years.
When Parmeet’s business was ruined
Parmeet further said, ‘I had started the business of export garments. I got some good orders from Europe. I set up a factory in Bengaluru. Everything was going well but then the orders got cancelled. All big brands suffered losses. I also suffered a lot. Everything was over. I remember I called you from the STD booth and I was crying. My entire business was over. I asked you what should I do. So you told me to come back. You gave me the support that very few people give.
Parmeet further said, ‘I was completely depressed at that time. I didn’t get out of my bed. I remember one of your producers came and you asked him to leave the cheque. If it passes then I will give you dates for shooting. So I thought this was a good business. Money used to come to my business after months. So I realized that I can spend myself in this business (acting). I knew this. Then I decided to become an actor.
