T20 World Cup 2026 IND vs PAK Match: The T20 World Cup has started but at present no concrete decision has been taken on whether the match between India and Pakistan will be played in the tournament on February 15 or not. Before the start of the T20 World Cup, the Pakistan government had said that their team will participate in the tournament, but will not take the field to compete against India.
Since this announcement by the Pakistan government, the discussion regarding India-Pakistan competition is intense. On Sunday (February 08), the ICC reportedly held an emergency meeting with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in Lahore. In a report that came out during the meeting, it was told that Pakistan has made 3 demands to play the match against India in the T20 World Cup. The thing to note is that all three demands have been made for Bangladesh. So let us know what is the demand of Pakistan cricket.
Pakistan’s three demands
The report published in NDTV explained the three conditions of Pakistan. Pakistan mentioned such things in all the three conditions, in which only Bangladesh seemed to benefit.
First condition- The first condition from Pakistan side was that the compensation for Bangladesh should be increased.
Second condition- Then in the second condition it was said that the participation fee should be given to Bangladesh which is not participating in the T20 World Cup, that is, there was a demand to give the participation fee to Bangladesh even without playing in the T20 World Cup.
Third condition- The third condition said that Bangladesh should be given hosting ICC events in future.
Why did Pakistan keep conditions for the benefit of Bangladesh?
