Chief Minister Nitish Kumar got angry on Rabri Devi in Bihar Legislative Council on Monday (February 09, 2026). They Told the Chairman to take action against those creating ruckus. Nitish Kumar said, did everyone know anything? Have you done any work? These people were there for 15 years…did not do any work. Look today how much work has been done in 20 years.”
In fact, as soon as the proceedings of Bihar Legislative Council started on Monday, there was a huge uproar. Under the leadership of Rabri Devi, women MLCs of RJD raised slogans in the House regarding law and order. CM Nitish Kumar got enraged after the opposition sloganeering.
Speaking in the House, Nitish Kumar said, “She is speaking three times… listen…”. His reference was towards Munni Rajak, Rabri Devi and Urmila Thakur. Asked them whether work has been done for women? Regarding Rabri Devi, Nitish Kumar said, “This is a girl… her husband stepped away… after a few days, she (Rabri) was made the CM.”
Opposition leaders did not calm down even after being told by the Chairman
Nitish Kumar said that these people have not done any work. All the work is being done by our government. During this time the opposition kept creating ruckus. The Chairman asked the opposition to sit down when the Chief Minister is speaking. However, the opposition leaders were not ready to listen.
The opposition kept creating ruckus and CM Nitish Kumar kept saying his views. He further said, “Bihar is progressing so much. There is support from the Central Government. Because of this, Bihar is progressing so much. Till date, you people (opposition) have not done any work. Is this some way…”
On the other hand, MLC Sunil Singh raised slogans against Home Minister Samrat Chaudhary in the House. He also demanded his resignation in front of Nitish Kumar.
