FSU Shooting: The Campus of Florida State University (FSU) took place on Thursday (April 17). Two people died and five people were injured in the incident. The main accused involved in this dreadful attack has been identified. The 20 -year -old accused is named Phoenix Echner. He is the son of Leon County Deputy Jessica Ikner.

Leon County Sheriff Walt McNell informed in a press conference that the accused used his mother’s gun to attack. Police has recovered arms from the spot. McNell said, “This incident is extremely regrettable for the Law Enforcement Department. However, we will ensure that such incidents do not happen again in the state or country.”

There was chaos in university campus
The shootout was reported at 12:30 pm (EDT) on Thursday afternoon. The Talhasi Police Department announced on X (East Twitter) at 4:10 pm that FSU campus has been secured. The police department said that after the firing incident, the people present in the campus were safely with the help of the bus, Donald L. Tucker was taken to Civic Center.

Social media connection of accused
As soon as the main accused Ikner was identified, many social media posts started going viral online. In viral screenshots on X (East), he has been seen participating in anti -trump demonstrations near FSU Campus, which has intensified the discussion about his political views.

Shooter’s relationship with law enforcement
Phoenix Ekner was also a member of the LCSO Youth Advisory Council. He had a family relationship with the police. Despite this, he took violent steps. This incident has once again brought the issues related to gun control, mental health and serious condition of youth in police families in American society.

Trump’s reaction
Trump reacted to Florida State University (FSU) firing case. During the oval office press conference, he said that the gun does not do the gun but people use it.
