Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde has reacted after Sanjay Raut raised questions on film actor Salman Khan attending the RSS program. He said that there is nothing wrong in Salman Khan going to Mohan Bhagwat’s program. He said that he is an Indian citizen and he believes in our culture. In such a situation there should be no politics.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said, “What is the question of Salman Khan not attending the RSS programme? Is Salman Khan not an Indian citizen? Salman Khan is an Indian citizen. He keeps Lord Ganesha at his home and does everything.”
‘There is nothing wrong in Salman Khan attending RSS programme’
Deputy CM Shinde further said, “He believes in our culture.” His family also believes. I don’t find anything wrong in Salman Khan attending Mohan Bhagwat’s program. This is appropriate and he is a Mumbai resident so he went to the program in Mumbai. There should be no politics on this.”
Due to fear, people are going to become Sangh volunteers – Sanjay Raut
Actor Salman Khan had arrived at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) program in Mumbai. Taking aim at this, Uddhav group MP Sanjay Raut had said that since when did Salman Khan become a volunteer of the Sangh. Sanjay Raut said that after the arrival of Narendra Modi, people are going to become volunteers of the Sangh out of fear.
The program was organized on Saturday (7 February) on the occasion of centenary celebrations of RSS in Mumbai. Bollywood actor Salman Khan, filmmaker Subhash Ghai and well-known lyricist and writer Prasun Joshi were also present in it. In this two-day program, the journey of RSS, its role in the society and future thinking were discussed.
