Canadian batsman trembled in front of this Pakistani, single-handedly played the band of the entire team, stopped at 150

Batting first, the Canadian team has scored 150 runs. Harsh Thaker scored a half-century, but no other batsman of the Canadian team could play a big innings. Pakistani origin bowler Junaid Siddiqui single-handedly destroyed the Canadian batting line up. He took a total of 5 wickets in the match.

In this match, Canada won the toss and decided to bat first. Yuvraj Samra and captain Dilpreet Bajwa were out cheaply, but Navneet Dhaliwal contributed 34 runs in a composed manner. Shreyas Mova also scored 21 runs.

This Pakistani created havoc

UAE bowler Junaid Siddiqui single-handedly dismissed 5 batsmen of the Canadian team. He took a total of 5 wickets giving 35 runs in 4 overs. He took the wickets of Dilpreet Bajwa, Yuvraj Samra, Harsh Thaker, Shreyas Mova and Saad Bin Zafar. Canada lost 7 wickets, out of which one was run out. That means, out of the remaining 6 wickets, Siddiqui alone took five. Apart from him, Mohammad Javadullah took one wicket.

This is only the second time in the T20 World Cup 2026 that a bowler took 5 wickets in a single innings. Before him, Romario Shepherd of West Indies had done this. He also took a hat-trick.

Both teams want to win

Canada and UAE are coming after losing their respective first matches. In such a situation, to keep the hopes of Super-8 alive, both are in dire need of victory. The boundaries of Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium are small and only yesterday Team India had scored 209 runs here. In such a situation, if UAE batsmen are able to bat systematically, they will easily chase the target of 151.
