How did the tragic accident happen?
This tragic incident happened on June 13 in Limera area of Sao Paulo state of Brazil. 21-year-old Maria Eduarda had come to jump rope from the Rodrigues de Freitas Bridge. It is an adventure sport in which jumping from a height is done with the help of a rope. But this time everything went wrong. According to initial information, his safety lifeline was not attached properly before the jump. As soon as she was pushed, she fell straight down about 40 meters and died on the spot.

Who was Maria Eduarda?
Maria lived in Jandira city of Sao Paulo and was fond of fitness and sports. She studied Physical Education and Sports Management and worked in a gym. She often shared posts related to her fitness and workout on social media. Shortly before the accident, he had jokingly written in a post, “Which madman gave me permission to jump from the bridge?” But this post became his last.
What did the investigation reveal?
After this incident the police have started investigation. According to reports, 6 people have been interrogated and 3 people have been detained. It is also being told that Maria had taken a GoPro camera with her so that she could record this adventure, but that camera was not found after the accident. Now the investigating agencies are trying to find out how such a huge negligence happened.
