A massive fire incident came to light on Monday morning in plot number G1/118B located in Khushkheda Karauli industrial area of Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, where a fire suddenly broke out in a private industrial unit being operated. At 9.52 in the morning, information was given to RIICO Fire Brigade from the police control room, after which several fire engines reached the spot.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire took a huge form within a few minutes. Due to the presence of chemicals and inflammable materials in the factory, the flames spread rapidly. According to preliminary information, eight workers died tragically by being burnt alive in the accident.
During the rescue operation, eight bodies were recovered, many of which were badly burnt and found in a skeleton-like state. It is being told that at the time of the accident, about 20 to 25 workers were working in the factory, some of whom were successful in coming out safely, while many were trapped inside.

On the other hand, seeing the seriousness of the incident, police, administrative officials, fire brigade, rescue team and medical team immediately reached the spot. Relief and rescue operations were started after cordoning off the area and the injured were sent to the hospital for treatment. The fire was brought under control after about one and a half hour of hard work. Tijara DSP Shivraj Singh, Bhiwadi SP and ADM reached the spot and took charge of the situation.
Investigation into the cause of the fire has been started and the administration has ordered a magisterial inquiry. Meanwhile, it is also being claimed that firecracker manufacturing work was going on in a part of the factory and the fire first broke out in that part, although this has not been officially confirmed yet. No official statement has come out from the company yet. There is an atmosphere of mourning and panic after the incident in the industrial area, while there is deep anger among the families of the deceased.
