Once again security agencies have issued a big alert regarding terrorist threat in the capital Delhi. According to intelligence input, terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba is planning a major attack in Delhi. According to the information, the target of the terrorists could be the historical Red Fort and the major religious places around it.
As soon as the alert was received, Delhi Police and security agencies swung into action. Security of Red Fort, Chandni Chowk and surrounding temples has been increased. Additional security forces have been deployed especially in Lal Mandir and Gauri Shankar Temple. Soldiers have also been deployed on the rooftops of the temple complexes. Metal detectors have been installed on the roads leading to Chandni Chowk and suspicious activities are being closely monitored.
Terrorist organization is planning to spread terror in Delhi
According to intelligence agencies, the terrorist organization is planning to spread terror by carrying out one blast after another in Delhi. Therefore, religious places and crowded areas have been kept on high alert. Security agencies have also received a threatening message, in which the capital Delhi has been described as the ‘next target’. In this message, a warning of attack has been given by taking the name of Red Fort and temples. After which the security arrangements have been made more strict.
There was a terrorist blast in Delhi last year also
It is noteworthy that last year on November 10, 2025, there was a terrorist blast near Red Fort metro station. In which more than 10 people died and more than 25 people were injured. In view of this old attack, this time the agencies do not want to make any mistake. At present Delhi is on high alert and the common people have been appealed to remain alert. Report any suspicious activity to the police immediately and ignore rumours.
