Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar often remains a topic of discussion due to his statements. Another statement given by him in Kota on 22 February has once again brought him into the headlines. In his latest statement, he claimed that desi cow milk makes children intelligent and active, while buffalo milk makes them lazy and corrupt. He gave this statement in a meeting organized in Ramganj Mandi area.
What did the minister say in the cow-improvement meeting?
The minister said this in a program organized on the topic of ‘cow conservation and cow herding’ in Ramganj Mandi constituency of Kota district. Villagers, public representatives and local officials were present in the meeting. The minister said that a person who drinks the milk of a high-backed desi cow becomes intelligent. On the contrary, the nature of people who drink buffalo milk becomes dull.
Announcement of ‘Gram Gwala’ scheme
Let us tell you that Education Minister Madan Dilawar had come to participate in the program to announce the ‘Gram Gwala’ scheme. During the meeting, it was announced to appoint ‘Gram Gwala’ to revive the ancient tradition of cow herding in 14 villages of the area. Under the new system, one village milkman will be appointed for more than 70 cows, while if the number is more, two milkmen will be appointed. Each village cowherd will be given Rs 10,000 per month and this system will be operated with the help of village donors.
Example given in support of claim
The minister gave the example of cow and buffalo calves to justify his claim. He said that if a calving cow and a buffalo are made to stand in opposite directions and release their calves, the calf of the buffalo will find it difficult to find its mother, while the calf of the cow will run straight towards its mother. He called this a proof of his claim.
