The weather is likely to remain unusually hot in large parts of Uttar Pradesh in early March and the maximum temperature is likely to cross 35 degrees Celsius in many districts in the coming days. India Meteorological Department has given this forecast.
The Meteorological Department said that there is no possibility of any active weather system in the state next week, due to which dry conditions will prevail and there will be a gradual increase in the maximum temperature by about 2-3 degrees Celsius.

According to the department, temperatures are already above normal and due to the prevailing dry conditions, the weather is likely to remain relatively warm at this time across the state. In view of this, there are chances of increase in heat in the state.

The maximum temperature recorded in Lucknow on Sunday (February 8) was 32.7 degrees Celsius, which was 2.2 degrees above normal, while the minimum temperature was 19.7 degrees Celsius, which was about 5.9 degrees above normal.
How will the weather be in UP today?
The Meteorological Department has predicted clear sky and sunny day in Lucknow and surrounding areas on Monday (9 March). According to the department, the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 34 degrees Celsius and 20 degrees Celsius respectively.
High temperatures recorded in many cities
Across the state, many cities have already recorded high day temperatures. The maximum temperature in Agra reached 37.6 degrees Celsius, while places like Jhansi, Banda and Prayagraj also recorded temperatures above the season’s average.

Officials said the mercury is likely to rise further in the coming days and if the dry weather continues, the temperature may cross 35 degrees Celsius in many parts of the state. He said that no weather warning has been issued yet and there is no possibility of rain during this period.
