Shiv Sena UBT leader Priyanka Chaturvedi has retired from Rajya Sabha. His last day in the Upper House was on 2 April 2026. On Friday (3 April) he met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Sharing the picture of this meeting, she said that I thank Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge for his constant support and encouragement.
Met PM Modi on Thursday
Earlier on Thursday, Priyanka Chaturvedi had met PM Narendra Modi. He also shared its picture on social media. She thanked the PM for the meeting and also said that she will remain a vocal member of the opposition because the country needs a strong opposition.

Had also met Sunetra Pawar
On Thursday itself, Priyanka Chaturvedi also met Maharashtra Deputy CM Sunetra Pawar in the Rajya Sabha. He wrote on Twitter, “It was a great pleasure to meet the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra in the Rajya Sabha. It was a great pleasure to see that despite personal loss, Sunetra Pawar is fulfilling the responsibility of not only her party but also the state very well. I wished her all the best for her active participation in the state administration.”
