Simmba Sequel: Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has made many great films. The list of his hit films includes Chennai Express, Golmaal, Golmaal Return, Singham, Singham Again Simba. The franchise of his films has also been a hit. Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff were seen as police officers in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. Now both of these are being entered in the Cop Universe. Also, Rohit has confirmed the sequel of Simba.
Rohit Shetty spoke about the sequel of Simba and Suryavanshi in an interview. Also told how his copy became the universe. In an interview to game changers, Rohit Shetty said- When he was making Singham, he did not have the idea that he would become a powerful brand.
Simba’s sequel will be made
Rohit further told that when he was writing the story of Simba, he decided that he would make it a universe. Because he was also planning to make Suryavanshi. When asked Rohit about the next franchise, he said- Simba will also be part 2. Suryavanshi will also move forward, more people will come. More films will be made in Cop Universe. That is why we made this universe.
Deepika-Tiger will enter
Rohit Shetty further said- When we were shooting Suryavanshi in 2019, we had planned a multi-starrer film like Singham Again. In which many new characters will get introduced. All the actors who appeared in the 2024 film knew that new actors including Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff would be given their own journey. Therefore, it is not that they come for only 10-15 minutes and after that they do not work.
Rohit Shetty’s last film was Singham Again which was released in 2024 on the occasion of Diwali. This film could not show anything special at the box office.
