Up news: In view of the scorching heat falling in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the district administration has taken a big decision. District Magistrate Visakh ji has issued an order on Thursday (April 24), changing the government, aided and private schools of all boards from class 1 to 8. This order will be applicable from 25 April 2025 and will be effective until further orders.

According to the order issued, now the schools will be operated from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. Along with this, clear instructions have also been given that keeping in mind the safety of the students, no activity should be organized outside the school premises or in the open ground.

This step has been taken in the interest of students

Significantly, the effect of scorching heat is being seen in the whole of North India including Lucknow. This decision has been taken in view of the possibility of adverse effects on the health of children due to continuous increase in temperature. The administration says that this step has been taken in the interest of the students so that they can be safe from the ill effects of excessive heat.

The District Magistrate has also directed that the authenticity of this order can be confirmed by the official website of the district www.lucknow.nic.in. Also, the concerned officials have been directed to promote this order through district website, newspapers and media so that all parents and school management can get information about it.

Copy of order sent to officers also

A copy of this order has also been sent to the District Information Officer, Deputy Director Information and District School Inspector so that it can be implemented on priority basis. Amid the rising temperature, this decision is not only a demand for times but also a step reflecting the administration’s sensitivity regarding the safety of children.
