IPL 2026 World Record: Indian cricket has got a new superstar. At the age of just 15, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has achieved such a feat, which no batsman in the world had been able to do till now. This young batsman, playing for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2026, has made the world record of completing the fastest 100 sixes in T20 cricket.
In the match played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Vaibhav Suryavanshi achieved this historic feat by hitting a six on the very first ball of Mohammad Siraj. He completed 100 sixes in just 29 innings and 514 balls. The most important thing is that at the time of making this record, his age was only 15 years and 43 days.
Pollard’s record destroyed
Earlier, the record of hitting the fastest 100 sixes in T20 cricket was in the name of West Indies’ explosive batsman Kieron Pollard. Pollard had achieved this feat in 843 balls. But Vaibhav Suryavanshi left his record far behind and completed a century of sixes in only 514 balls. Earlier, Vaibhav had also made the record of hitting the fastest 50 sixes in IPL. This season his batting has increased the problems of big bowlers. Be it a fast bowler or a spinner, Vaibhav is seen batting aggressively against everyone.

Great performance in IPL 2026
Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s bat is continuously on fire in IPL 2026. He has scored more than 400 runs in 10 innings so far and is also involved in the Orange Cap race. Apart from this, he also remains the batsman who has hit the most sixes this season.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has also become the batsman who has hit the most sixes during the powerplay in a single season of IPL. He has hit 30 sixes in just 11 innings. Earlier this record was in the name of Abhishek Sharma, who had hit 29 sixes in 2024.
