In North India, apart from the capital Delhi, the weather is going to change again in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of thunderstorm and lightning along with heavy rain in many states. According to the Meteorological Department, wind can blow at a speed of 60 km per hour on Wednesday (May 13). Special alert has been issued for Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
Delhi weather
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be partly cloudy sky in the capital Delhi today. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and the maximum temperature of the day is expected to be 35 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 26 degrees Celsius. The weather will start clearing from May 14th. During this period, the maximum temperature is expected to be 37 degrees and the minimum will be 25 degrees. Since then, a warning has been issued regarding continuous rise in mercury. The mercury may reach 40 degrees Celsius on May 17.

Weather alert has been issued in many cities of Uttar Pradesh. Yellow alert has been issued regarding rain and storm in Saharanpur, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Aligarh, Agra, Mathura, Etawah, Farrukhabad and Bijnor of Western UP. Apart from this, yellow alert has also been issued in Mainpuri, Hardoi, Jhansi and Lalitpur regarding rain and storm. Apart from this, there is alert in the capital Lucknow, Kanpur, Barabanki, Mathura, Aligarh, Pratapgarh, Azamgarh and Deoria.
Warning issued in Bihar
The weather pattern in Bihar is going to deteriorate once again. Warning of heavy rain and storm has been issued in West Champaran, East Champaran, Madhepura, Gopalganj, Gaya, Vaishali, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, Purnia, Katihar, Kishanganj and Bhagalpur. Wind gusts can blow at a speed of 70 km per hour.
Alert in Uttarakhand and Himachal
There is a possibility of lightning, hailstorm, heavy rain and storm with stormy winds at many places in Uttarakhand on 13-14 May. The Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of thunder, lightning and hailstorm in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts. Yellow alert has been issued for the remaining districts of the state. Warning of hailstorm, lightning and strong winds at the speed of 40-70 kilometers per hour has been issued in Kullu, Mandi, Shimla and Sirmaur districts of Himachal Pradesh. Light to moderate rain and snowfall has been predicted in most areas today.
