PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana: There is a lot of hard work in farming, but with advancing age the body does not support like before. Keeping this in mind, the Central Government has started the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana, which works like a retirement plan for small and marginal farmers. Often farmers spend their entire lives converting soil into gold.

But there is always a concern about financial security in old age. This scheme is a way to eliminate that tension. Who will get the benefit of this scheme?

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana is especially for those farmers who have 2 hectares or less of cultivable land. The age limit for joining this scheme has been fixed at 18 to 40 years. That means, the sooner you join this scheme, the lesser will be the premium amount.

In this, a monthly contribution of Rs 55 to Rs 200 has to be made depending on the age. The good thing is that whatever amount the farmer deposits, the government will also deposit the same amount in his pension account.
