After returning from the trip to five countries, PM Modi will hold a meeting of the Council of Ministers, will take report cards of two years’ work from the ministers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to return to India after completing his tour of five countries on Wednesday next week (May 20, 2026). The very next day i.e. on Thursday (May 21, 2026), PM Modi will hold a meeting of the Council of Ministers. On completion of two years of the third term of the Modi government, an important meeting of the Council of Ministers is going to be held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister.

All 72 ministers, including Cabinet, Minister of State with Independent Charge and Minister of State will attend this meeting. The two-year tenure of the government will be reviewed in this meeting. Apart from this, an outline will also be prepared to promote the work done in the last 12 years of the Modi government.

The work of two years of the third term will be reviewed

In the meeting of the Council of Ministers, a detailed review of the functioning of different departments of the government during the last two years will be done. In the meeting, all the ministries will give detailed details of the achievements, progress of the schemes and future plans of their respective departments. The ground impact of major government schemes and the status of their implementation can also be discussed. Along with this, there will also be a discussion about the situation regarding the beneficiaries of government schemes.
