National Overseas Scholarship 2026-27 : Nowadays, studying abroad can be every student’s dream, but due to the cost of higher education and other expenses, this dream is not easy for everyone. Keeping this problem in mind, the Government of India has started National Overseas Scholarship. This scheme is especially for those students who come from economically weaker sections and want to pursue higher education in international universities. National Overseas Scholarship not only provides financial assistance to the students, but also gives them an opportunity to experience the new world and strengthen their career through study abroad.
When will National Overseas Scholarship 2026-27 application start?
The application process for this year (2026-27) has started from 24 April 2026. Students can now apply online. The last date to apply is 2 June 2026. Even after this, the correction facility will be available to the candidates till June 7, 2026.

Who can apply?
This scholarship is specially designed for students from backward classes. Students applying under this should belong to Scheduled Castes (SC), unorganized tribes like Denotified Tribes, nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes, landless agricultural laborers, traditional artisan families. On receiving the scholarship, the selected students will be given financial assistance during their education, which will include tuition fees, living expenses, travel and transportation expenses, other academic expenses. With its help, students can improve the social and economic condition of themselves and their families abroad.

1. First official scholarship portal https://nosmsje.gov.in/ Go to.
2. After this fill the online registration form.
3. Now fill all the educational and personal details correctly.
4. Also, check all the information once before submitting the form.
5. Forms with incomplete or incorrect information will not be accepted.
