punjab kings
PBKS has 1 match left, which is with Lucknow Super Giants. Punjab can reach 15 points by winning that match. But this is not enough, Punjab needs Rajasthan Royals to lose 1 out of their 2 matches. Even if KKR loses one match, or lags behind Punjab in net run rate, they can reach 15 points by winning both the matches.

Rajasthan Royals
RR team has 2 matches left, one match is with Lucknow Super Giants today. The second match is with Mumbai Indians on Sunday. Right now Rajasthan is the biggest contender, because by winning both its matches it can reach 16 points and qualify for the playoffs. If Rajasthan wins both its matches then they will not have to depend on any other match. If Rajasthan loses even one match, they will have only 14 points, then they should ensure that Punjab and Kolkata do not reach 15 points.
Chennai Super Kings
CSK’s chances of reaching the playoffs are now very less, the team will reach 14 points by winning its last match while their net run rate is in minus. Chennai’s next match is with Gujarat Titans, along with winning it, Chennai needs Punjab to lose its last match. Rajasthan lost both the matches and if they lose one then it will depend on the net run rate. If KKR also loses at least one match, then Chennai can qualify.
Kolkata Knight Riders
KKR has 11 points after 12 matches. Kolkata should win both their matches and reach 15 points and Punjab should lose their last match and Rajasthan Royals should also lose at least one match. Then he will not be affected by the victory or defeat of KKR and Delhi.

Delhi Capitals
It is also difficult for DC to qualify in the IPL 2026 playoffs, but the team remains in the race. Delhi should win its match and reach 14 points, then Rajasthan should lose both its matches. Punjab and Chennai should also lose their respective matches and Kolkata should also lose to Mumbai Indians before the match against Delhi. It is difficult to make this equation.
