Sad news has come from Marathi industry. Marathi actor Mahesh Pawar died at the age of 25. He met with an accident and the car fell into a ditch. He had gone on a trip with friends. There were 7 more people with him. But everyone died when the car fell into a ditch. Police found his car in a ditch.

The actor was seen in the TV show ‘Appi Aamchi Collector’. This show started in August 2022. The final episode of the show went on air in March 2025.

8 people died

According to PTI, this accident took place in Ambenali Ghat area located on Poladpur-Mahabaleshwar road, about 180 km from Mumbai. Officials said that a total of eight people died after an SUV fell into a gorge more than 1,000 feet deep in Maharashtra’s Raigarh district. The last location of the victims was traced near Poladpur. During the search, police spotted an SUV in a ditch. Police said that this accident happened due to the driver losing control.

The victims had left in a car from Harne in Dapoli at around 2 pm on Sunday. When Satara did not reach, the family members started searching and then contacted the police.

These 8 people were in the car

According to the information given by the officials, the victims were 22 year old Ritesh Lokhande, 20 year old Suhas Lokhande, 21 year old Utkarsh Shingte, 25 year old Nikhil Shingte, 25 year old Mahesh Pawar, 21 year old Aditya Salunkhe, 35 year old Rajesh Katkar and 19 year old Ansh Chavan.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed grief over the death of 8 people. He said that 8 people had gone on a trip and the vehicle went into a ditch in a hilly area.
