England has defeated India by 26 runs in the second T20 match. Batting first, the England women’s cricket team scored 168 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. In response to this, the middle order of the Indian team collapsed badly and the entire team was able to score only 142 runs. With this big win, England has leveled the three-match series by one point.
The England team was also struggling in this second T20 match of the series. It seemed difficult for him to even score 150, but in the last two and a half overs, Freya Camp wreaked such havoc that he scored 39 runs in 13 balls. England’s batsmen scored 42 runs in the last 15 balls. This beating in the death overs proved costly for Team India during the chase. Shri Charni took maximum 3 wickets for India.
Team India lost badly
Shefali Verma and Smriti Mandhana played short innings for Team India, which came to chase the target of 169 runs. Shefali scored 22 runs and Smriti scored 32 runs. Yastika Bhatia was set at the crease, but on the score of 33 she had to be retired due to injury.
At one time the Indian team had scored 115 runs at the loss of 2 wickets. From here the fall of wickets started and within the next 30 runs, Team India lost 6 wickets. Series equal to one each
In the first T20 match, the Indian team had registered an easy victory of 38 runs. Yastika Bhatia and Jemimah Rodrigues had scored half-centuries in that match. But in the second T20 match, England made a comeback by defeating Team India by 26 runs and leveled the series by one point. The third and decisive T20 match of the series will be played on June 2.
