No good for the enemies! DRDO successfully tests destructive ‘high caliber bomb’

Defense Research and Development Organization i.e. DRDO has successfully conducted the testing of a high caliber bomb in Haryana on Sunday (May 31, 2026). This bomb was tested at DRDO’s Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory (TBRL) located at Ramgarh in Panchkula district of Haryana.

This high caliber bomb has been tested under the supervision of senior officers of the Indian Air Force and amid tight security arrangements. Officials said about this test that the test was completely successful and it was conducted in strict compliance with the prescribed safety standards and protocols.

High alert was issued in the area before the bomb test

In view of the test scheduled by the Defense Research and Development Organization, the Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory (TBRL), Panchkula district administration and police administration had already issued a high alert in the entire area. As per the security protocol, special surveillance was also kept in all the areas around TBRL.

2 kilometer radius declared sensitive area

In fact, the officials feared that during the test the fragments of the bomb could fly to a distance of about one and a half kilometers. For this reason, keeping in mind the safety of the people living in the areas around TBRL, a radius of two kilometers was declared a sensitive area by the authorities.

Villages were advised to take special precautions

Apart from this, citing security reasons, special instructions were issued to the people living in nearby Bhanu and Billa villages and they were advised to exercise maximum caution. Extensive security arrangements were in place during the test and surveillance was increased in the entire area by the Panchkula district administration and police administration.
