SIR Third Phase Start in India: Special intensive revision i.e. SIR has started in many states of the country. These include the states of Mizoram, Sikkim, Odisha and Manipur. The Election Commission has given this information. Let us tell you, the Election Authority had started the third phase of SIR on May 14 at different times in 16 states and three union territories.
During this phase which started on Saturday, BLOs will go door to door and distribute enumeration forms. Will deposit. Will also examine them. Voters can also submit their forms through BLO or online.
You can apply for registration through declaration form
If any voters are not able to submit their enumeration forms within the stipulated time limit, they can apply for registration as a new voter through Form 6 and the accompanying declaration form during the claim and objection time limit. According to the Election Commission, if the forms are received by the election registration officers on or before June 28, they will be included in the voters list.

There are a total of 3.67 crore voters in the four states included in the currently ongoing SIR phase. Odisha has the highest number of voters. Their number is more than 3.34 crores. 38,123 BLOs and 8,391 BLAs are working for them. There are 8.75 lakh voters in Mizoram, 4.71 lakh in Sikkim and 20.92 lakh in Manipur.
Election Commission made this appeal to voters
The Election Commission has appealed to all eligible voters to actively participate in the SIR. Also cooperate with the officials involved in the process.
The Election Commission has said that SIR has been started to ensure that all eligible citizens are included in the voters list. Also, ineligible people can be prevented from participating.
