Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has won the IPL 2026 title. In the final match held on Sunday, RCB won the title by defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) by 5 wickets. This is RCB’s second consecutive title. At the same time, Gill, who was trying to win his first IPL title as captain and lead GT to the second title, has been disappointed.

After the match, GT captain Gill said, “If we had reached around 180-190, it would have been a good match. The fast bowlers got a little help in the first three-four overs, and after the first few wickets fell, our rhythm broke. We gave away 15-20 runs more in the powerplay. I think we were one of the best bowling teams in this tournament. After losing the first few matches, we made a tremendous comeback. I am very happy. We We could not reach the goal of victory, but even if we had won the trophy, there would always be room for improvement.”
