Parents did not like Kangana’s character in Gangster
Kangana made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Gangster’. Recently, in a conversation with Pen Movies, he told that his family had different thinking about the industry. His parents were not comfortable with his film career. However, he had full faith in Kangana. When his film ‘Gangster’ was released, his father did not give any reaction after watching the film. When he asked his mother, she said that there were some scenes in the film which were not appropriate for his age. He was worried what the society would think after seeing this.
National Award became a turning point
Kangana further told that she was very sad to hear all this because those scenes were seen more in the film than the story and acting. After this he did not expect anything from his parents. Later, Amitabh Bachchan wrote a letter to Kangana for the film ‘Queen’. Then he thought that his father was not from this area, that is why he could not understand his work. However, with time, when he received the National Award, his parents became happy, and this proved to be a turning point for him.

Let us tell you that Kangana had received the first National Award for fashion. After this, he also won this award for the films ‘Queen’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, ‘Manikarnika’ and ‘Panga’. It is directed by Manoj Tapadia, in which apart from Kangana, Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, Amrit Namdev, Isha De, Priya Barde and Asha Shelar are in lead roles.
