The Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 is the 10th edition of the 20-over cricket tournament. Before the match, Indian team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has made a big revelation regarding the selection of the team.

Captain Harmanpreet Kaur said her team is pretty clear about its playing XI for the Women’s T20 World Cup and will use the first two practice matches to try out some more combinations and give opportunities to players like Radha Yadav and Bharti Fulmali.

India reached England with the hope of ending the long wait to win the first Women’s T20 World Cup title but they lost the three-match T20 International series 2-1 to hosts England, dealing a blow to their preparations ahead of this prestigious ICC tournament.

Harmanpreet said on the playing eleven, ‘I believe that we are quite clear about our playing eleven. I think we are completely prepared. Before the World Cup, we have to play two practice matches in which we can think of trying other combinations. He further said, ‘Radha is already in the team. She performed very well in the WPL and she is also fully prepared. Apart from that, Bharti Phulmali has also performed well in the middle order. Hopefully we will give him enough opportunities in the practice matches.
