According to the Panchang, Saptami Tithi of Adhikamas Krishna Paksha will start at 02:40 am on June 7 and will remain till 03:24 am on June 8. There is importance of worshiping Sun God at the time of sunrise. Therefore, on the basis of Udayatithi, it would be scriptural to celebrate Bhanu Saptami on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

puja and arghya time
- Sunrise or within 1 hour of sunrise is the most auspicious time to offer prayers to the Sun God on Bhanu Saptami. On June 7, on Bhanu Saptami, after taking bath, you can offer water to Sun God between 05:50 to 6:30 in the morning and do puja. While offering Arghya to Sun God, fill pure water in a copper Kalash, add red flowers, sugar candy or jaggery, intact and offer Arghya. After this chant the mantras of Sun God.
- Apart from this, Abhijeet Muhurta for puja will be from 11.52 am to 12.48 am. You can perform puja during this time also.
