Congress on Saturday said that Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s continuation in the post reflects his shameless lust for power, regarding alleged irregularities related to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on-screen marking system.
Party general secretary Jairam Ramesh said that Minister Pradhan has been exposed as an arrogant and incompetent person running a compromised ministry. Citing a news, Ramesh posted on ‘X’, ‘The secrets of the Education Ministry are coming to light one after the other. He says, ‘As we now know, Gen-G ethical hackers had exposed serious flaws in cyber security as early as February 2025, which CBSE denied until it was unable to do so…’
Sharp attack on Dharmendra Pradhan
Jairam Ramesh said, ‘If Pradhan’s ministry had shown more sincerity in carrying out the CBSE examinations, the On Screen Marking (OSM) system and the revaluation process properly, we could have avoided this bad situation which has put lakhs of students and their families under stress.’ He said, ‘Minister Pradhan’s continuation in office only reflects his shameless desire for power. He has been completely exposed as an arrogant and incompetent person running a completely compromised ministry.
